(Kahnawake – 17, Kenténha/October 2022) The Office of the Electoral Officer is pleased to announce several important dates for the 2022 Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke By-Election.
- Nomination Day - Saturday October 22, 10am to 12 noon at the Kahnawà:ke Services Complex
- Meet the Candidates Night - Thursday October 27, 6pm to 11pm at the Knights of Columbus Hall
- Special Advanced Poll - Wednesday November 2, 5pm to 7pm at the Golden Age Club (submit letters of intent by noon on Monday, October 31)
- By-Election - Saturday November 5, Polls open 9am to 4pm at Karonhianónhnha Tsi Ionterihwaienstáhkhwa School
The Electoral Officer would also like to remind the community of the importance of having the required documents and signers for the nomination process ready on Nomination Day.
